Advanced Techniques for Web Searching Webinar

Explore advanced search capabilities and strategies with Web search engines.
It includes what you need to know about Boolean searches, adjacency, field
searching, limits, and other special features. We will focus mostly on
Google, Yahoo!, and a few other major search engines.

This webinar is based on sessions and articles by Greg Notess.


Dance & Theater Studies Hands-on Session

Did you not study in theater or dance as an undergraduate, and now as a
library professional you have to do collection development and maintenance?
This workshop will familiarize participants with dance and theater studies
resources for the purposes of reference, instruction, and collection
development. Print and online resources will be explored using a hands-on
approach.

Sessions are based on the ARLIS/NA Postcards from the Edge series, with
permission of Nedda Ahmed.
